PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Ube - A Purple Ingredient.


- Bake an Ube dessert for the first day of the spring equinox party which is the sun appears directly over the equator only twice/year which gives 12 hours of daylight & 12 hours of night, which you will be inspired for your dessert in 90 minutes.

(My opinion is that they spend more TV time on showing the bakers baking & Jesse appearing to talk to them which I think is VERY BORING).

- Feature a Spring Flower in 2 1/2 hours.

PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Put an American spin on the Indian tradition of Holi by making inspired doughnuts & using vibrant colors of Holi and filling them with jams & pastry cream such as Saffron, Rose, Pistachio & Turmeric in 2 hours.

- Make Songkran Cakes featuring the national animal of Thailand, the Elephant, paired in 2 in 3 hours.
